Lily joins the pop-up craze

 Everyone seems to be opening some kind of pop-up shop nowadays and not wanting to be left out, Lily Allen’s joined in with her sister Sarah Mary Owen.

The two will be soon opening their first standalone store Lucy in Disguise later this year, but ahead of that they’ll be temporarily setting up shop within Selfridges with a collection of their favourite vintage designs to rent or buy. Brands will include their personal choices from YSL, Lanvin and Ossie Clark – all displayed on a makeshift red carpet. Customers can also have the their hair styled in a red carpet style up do, created by a guest hairdresser, and have their make-up done by experts at Illamasqua.

"Finally - an idea that was basically a great store name, my personal wardrobe and a shared love of clothes is becoming a fantastic reality in the shape of two vintage stores!" says Lily.
The Lucy in Disguise concept store is open now in Selfridges' Wonder Room until September 15.
